The play follows Tony, a young teen riddled with depression and anxiety through a series of journal entries. A group of his peers read through his experiences set to music and monologues in hopes to avoid the same devastating end that claimed his mother. This piece explores suicide awareness and the effects of mental health on urban teenagers.

THE PLAY IS 35 MINUTES LONG AND WILL BE PRESENTED TOGETHER WITH ANOTHER 2 PLAYS IN THE SAME NIGHT/SHOW

Playwright’s Bio.

Lawrence has a long list of performance credits. As a playwright, he has since written and directed original works of his own: SOMETHING LIKE A FAIRYTALE, RED!, WHAT COMES NEXT!?, COMING HOME. Lawrence is one of the resident choreographers with (Vanguard Theater Company) as well as the Founder/Artistic Director of (Aurway Repertory Theatre).
