I see you

I SEE YOU is a tender and thought-provoking two-person play imagining what could happen if a wrong number turned out to be oh-so-right. Through a series of phone calls, Jay, an introverted novelist, and Mia, a free-spirited songwriter, explore creativity, fulfillment, and connection. Their conversations are vulnerable and the chemistry is palpable, making the audience feel as if they are witnessing something intimate. Surprisingly and delightfully, the stage lights up slowly and only as Jay and Mia are able to visualize the person on the other end of the phone. The theater goes from pitch black to a fully lit, immersive experience, mirroring the feeling of getting to know a new friend or lover. I SEE YOU is a relatable, heartwarming play that will actually leave youfeeling seen. Note: The characters’ genders, ages, races (there are no races defined), abilities, and names can all be changed. The play is meant to be adaptable and inclusive; friendship and love have no limits.
