BLURB (a short synopsis)
In Brooklyn, 1965, a young man, Arturo, takes up an offer for a ride home from another young man, Raúl, after a long shift working at Astroland amusement park in Coney Island. What follows is the development of an intimate relationship between the two men in the midst of a looming threat of being drafted to the war in Vietnam.

PRODUCTION HISTORY
It was produced as part of the Chain Theatre's 2024 Winter One-Act Festival, having three performances in February. I am under an exclusivity agreement with the Chain Theatre to not produce this show anywhere else until after February 2025.

Born and raised in New York City, Peter Del Re is a new playwright who studied theatre and film at Marymount Manhattan College. During & since college, he has garnered experience directing, stage managing, and producing. He is passionate about showcasing the existence and persistence of queer people in every era through his work.
