Craig Horsley is an avid supporter of theater. He has invested in over 40 Broadway, Off Broadway, and touring productions over the past 15 years. He was a Co Producer of The Velocity of Autumn starring Estelle Parsons and is currently an investor in The Play That Goes Wrong on tour and Off Broadway and the UK musical revival tour of Titanic.
Over the years he has been an active Board member for Emerging Artists Theater Company, Abingdon, where he was Managing Director, NY Theater Barn (Treasurer) and currently Urban Stages (Vice President). He was a supporter of NYMF (New York Musical Theater Festival) for many years, seeing every show and being a judge for their annual awards. Craig has been a reader of plays for Fresh Fruit Festival for a number of years and happy to see some of those recommended plays on stage.
As a writer and performer, Craig has performed one man stories at the PIT’s Solocon and at the Kraine Theater. He writes for Times Square Chronicles and Forest Hills Living magazine. He is always looking for new talent and wrote and produced the musical review, Four, at Urban Stages and Love and Other Feelings at the Hidden Cabaret. Additionally, he wrote the twice sold out show for singer Marvin Gayatgay at Urban Stages. He produced two very successful shows of Woodstock legend Melanie in 2013. Craig is a devotee of all forms of performing arts as he was the interviewer of over 50 podcasts for the Festival of Cinema NYC, where he interviewed filmmakers, actors and writers.
He is currently trying his hand in front of the camera, doing background work in films and TV. Previous to all his work in the arts, he was a corporate financial consultant for various Fortune 100 Companies which took him to many countries in the world where he took the opportunity to enjoy the local cultural performances. He is an adventure traveler, having climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, hiked the Inca trail, overlanded through Africa and most recently skydived in Dubai.
