Suzanna Bowling, co-owns and publishes the newspaper the Times Square Chronicles or T2Conline.com. The paper reaches approximately 73,000 people per day from all over the world. She is a well known critic of theater and musicals. She sees and reviews on average 250 shows (Broadway, off Broadway and off off Broadway) per year. She works with playwrights to get their work to the next level, getting them publicity that they can use to parlay an introduction to a theatre company.
She shows the playwrights what venues are right for their show and has helped playwright get grants, agents, managers, introductions to record companies and theaters. Productions she has helped have received theatre deals with several regional theatre companies and one of the plays she helped, was signed onto to play a cruise line. All were first time playwrights.
She is now proud to head the critic panelist for ITC – International Theater Competition , where she hopes to discover the next voices in theatre. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog. She also has a book on Child Abuse and Loss and Grief coming out this year. She is a proud member of the Drama Desk and the Outer Critics Circle and was a nominator for the Drama Desk.
